Most of our kids went from seeing their friends daily at school and church to not seeing them at all. One great way to keep them connected is to set up virtual playdates via FaceTime or Zoom. This is a great way to reach out to other families as well and see if there are ways that we can be praying for each other during this season.

Prayer requests / Pray for the special needs kids and parents
« Last post by amac on March 28, 2020, 08:32:50 pm »
It's hard for any and all of us to be out of our routines and daily rhythms. But for those kids with sensory needs, different needs, high needs and the like...it is so hard for them because they don't understand what is going on. They feel uncertain and confused and have nothing to predict anymore, while being cared for their parents who equally feel uncertain and confused and have nothing to predict anymore! Pray for comfort and peace and perseverance for all, and that parents are being refueled by running to Jesus, opening the Word, or even listening to worship music if that's the best they can get in right now. And above all, pray for grace. Grace upon grace and then grace some more. XO

We are loving the Family Memory Verse challenge!
We also enjoy the "Jesus Calling for Kids" book at night before bed. The daily readings have been so great as they address anxiety, loneliness, complaining, etc and are so relatable with all the uncertainties going on these days.
